Vinoble is proud to be the importer of Di Filippo wines Hong Kong. The family has owned and operated the winery over three generations, since 1971. It is located in central Italy between Rome and Florence in the DOC Montefalco area. The estate has a long tradition and experience of natural viticulture, and since 1994 has been certified as organic, meeting the European Community requirements. Since 2009 Di Filippo has also introduced biodynamic farming practices, including manual tilling of the vineyards with working horses in order to respect and avoid compacting the soil. The family feel this is important contribution to the quality of their wines as it depends so heavily on the quality of fruit the vineyard produces. They feel strongly that they couldn't produce excellent wines like Sagrantino, Grechetto or Montefalco Rosso without natural vitculture practices. Many admirers of Di Filippo wines also appreciate that the wines are free of chemicals found in many commercially produced wines.
