Vinoble is proud to be the importer of Gagliole wines Hong Kong. This esteemed producer is an ancient winery with its roots deep in the history of Tuscany. A place so perfect that in 994 A.D. it was the love pledge of a king for his queen. Ancient terraced vineyards tell the history of this carefully preserved landscape. In 1990 Thomas and Monika Baer acquired the Gagliole wine estate so that they could revive this unique piece of land with its centuries-old tradition of producing wine and olive oil. In 2011, the Baer family purchased the winery "La Valletta" in the Conca d'Oro in Panzanoin Chianti, with the intention of optimising the quality of their red wines (Rubiolo, Gagliole,Valletta, and Pecchia). The excellent combination of soil and climate in the Chianti Classico area produces beautiful wines that reflect the local terroir. Vineyard care is of the utmost importance at Gagliole. Cultivating the vines and the soil as carefully as possible and according to set biological guidelines is imperative. The cellar is characterised by a balance between ancient and modern techniques that let the character of the wines shine through. Gagliole is a gem in the heart of the Chianti Classico.
